Very physical game between Park and London Scottish tonight at the Rock. At half time it was 17-12 to Park then Scottish scored quickly after the break to sneak ahead before Park took control and ran in 3 more tries to win it convincingly 34-19 at the close albeit that probably slightly flattered Park who ran in 2 tries from deep in their half in the last 10 minutes when the game opened up. Park #15 Charlie Coe looked like a very useful addition to Park's already potent back line.

A bad injury in the first half to Park's loose-head prop resulted in a 10 minute stoppage and him being stretchered off the pitch - hopes for a speedy recovery but I suspect he might be out for the rest of the season.

From this showing I suspect Scottish will be very competitive this season in National 1 - they looked very sharp in attack and their set piece was solid.

Park play Nottingham next Saturday away for their last pre-season game.

Llanelli Wanderers 12-14 Birmingham Moseley. A bit of a disjointed game not helped by poor light conditions (7.30 KO) and an inexperienced referee with no AR assistance. Some good moves by both sides, and played in a good spirit.
